The Status filter allows you to refine your search to only those documents with a specific status. Standards Development Organizations (SDOs) follow a process in which their documents are revisited and revised as technologies and requirements change, which is then reflected in the status of the document.
IHS Standards Expert documents include various status types for those users that may require documents with a status other than Active. For example, if an aircraft company built an aircraft using a standard that was Active when the aircraft was first built and their engineer receives an alert notification that the standard's status has changed to Non-current, he or she can review the standard to see if the changes are significant or applicable to that aircraft.
You can use multiple status types to refine your search or a single status. To use multiple items, hold your keyboard Shift key to select consecutive items. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on select items for non-consecutive status types.
